Newsletter Jan 2010 2010-01-17 Hi Friends, Here are some news about us. 2009 was a very hectic year for us at DOT MUsic. Touring with Joe Labero, Rhapsody In Rock, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Sonja-Shirley-Sanna and Måns, Alan Jackson in Norway and a lot of shows in Scandinavia. We have apart from touring also sold over 150 shows to promoters in Sweden, great! We now look at this year, whih is starting off with a bang. Niclas will be touring Jan-Feb-March with Highschool Musical and Frippe will be building the studio and record a couple of albums and there is a scheduled tour with Joe Labero from April to June. Artist Booking We are right now in the progress of booking late spring and summer, some of the artists we represent are: Audiovision, André De Lang, Big, Christoffer Hiding, Stonefuze, Daid Castañeda, Elefant, Felicia Brandström, Himlaväsen, Indigo, Jalle / Emma, Julia Alvgard, EP Gospel - Kent Lundberg, Majestic Vanguard, Narnia, Pilot, Real Talk, Samuel Ljungblahd, Soulit, Stonefuze, Tiger & Hans Vänner, Tommie Sewón, Triple & Touch... Musikguiden We will send out the next issue of Musikguiden in March, we have found this to be a better time since the promoters then have time to book the summer and fall and the next issue will be sent out in October. DOT MUSIC AB As we already informed we moved the office in November. We are still located in Örebro, but the new office is bigger and better. A new studio will be built up aswell. Tomas Karlsson har started working at DOT and will be working as an assistant and also work with marketing. We also hired a new salesrep who will start in jan/feb. ON CD We will release a new album with Mia Sjöö in the spring and we are also working on a few exciting project for this year. EXTRA - EXTRA - EXTRA - EXTRA - EXTRA! Audiovision – Support Act to Stryper Stryper will visit Europe in Jan-Feb. Among other places they will be in Sweden at KB in Malmoe (27/1) and also at Trägår'n in Gothenburg (28/1). Support Act for this part of the tour is our own Audiovision, with Christian Liljegren (Narnia, Divine Fire, Modest Attraction)as lead singer. Germany is also confirmed for Audiovision and discussions regarding Finland is ongoing. Don't miss out. This is a real happening.
